Right quite a different styled challenge this week for you all, hopefully it will be ok for most to do.
Shapes in black + white... now for the added bit shutter speed has to be around 4 seconds long (camera permitting obviously)
for people not using slr cameras then just shapes in black and white will do, this will also be a week where you can obviously change a coloured pic into b+w.
If anyone thinks this challenge is too hard then let me know and i will amend it, but want to obviously challenege people this week

This week's efforts have got to be in by today!
I've got a couple in my 365 thread, but one is WAY too photoshopped...so might have to go with one of the others

I'm gonna see what I come up with when I walk up the shop in a bit
I tried to convince Laura to get naked and let me take one of her shape but she wasn't keen

Haha, great minds think alike!
I was tempted to ask my missus the same thing, and get her in silhouette, but I decided it'd be a definite no, so didn't even get that far!
Optimus Prime, and Ironhide popping some shapes in Black and White (was a 4 second shutter, wasn't needed... but I did a 4 second shutter!

Was either that or the pouring salt one... OR another Idea I had was to photograph and Zebra/Penguin, but didn't go the Zoo, or my other idea was find the word "shape" in a newspaper and focus on that, blur the rest etc... "Shape in Black and White print" but I didn't buy a paper either

If it's not too late, I've got an entry
It's not completely greyscale but I have lowered the saturation a lot. It turns out the light from my phone is quite blue Also tried getting the dust off of the glass but it was having none of it

well.... quite a hard one to judge this week as i didnt really know what to expect tbh and not many entries, but here goes...
This weeks winner i think has to go to....
1) Cavey again
Even though it looks like alot of processing which was what was putting me off placing you first it is just the fact it reminded the andy worhol (sp) picture of madonna for some reason .
2) Conway Joe
So so close to being first, love the idea just really really wish it was more in focus.
Joint 2) Neo
Love the sharpness on the door frame and a really nice picture just not feeling it so much.
3) Dave
Really nice shot just a few things that put me off it, lighting needed to be ever so slightly brigher to bring out the top of the glass a bit more, dust and would like to see some guiness in it
Congrats to all, appologies for setting quite a hard task although deciding the winner has just taken me about 30mins

Damn it Matt, really didn't expect to win this week with that picture! Thank you though
Did post a link to the original to show how much PP went into it, ironically it was all pretty easy, just up the contrast a few times, all using the Windows photo-fix thing, can cheat my way around PP
Will think while i'm at work. Back at 2ish guys.

I took a few with different apertures (all 4 second exposure ) and liked this one the best tbh. The phone's light wasn't doing as good a job as I thought it would I tried getting rid of the dust but it was having none of it Darn our dusty tea-towel. And I don't have any Guinness

Cheers Matt, that's the joys of a shitty point and click Took about 15 shots at it but for some reason as soon as you turn the flash off focus goes out the window
Congrats Cavey

Hmmm, always a tough thing to do choosing pictures...
I'm gonna go with 'Religion'
I'm not in the slightest religious, but I think it leaves a pretty wide scope, and there's a lot of ways you can interpret it.
Just found the A-Z list on TP for if I win again anyway
Personally I really liked Dave's picture
