the xbox does do things better than the ps3.. i will openly admit that, but this isnt a debate about xbox/ps3.
ie voice communication is far better on xbox than ps3

Some of the graphics for GT5 look amazing, some of the textures i'm not sure about. mesh for example

The only argument I feel carries weight is that the amount of time Gran Turismo has been in development I would hope this is simply the best driving game EVER and we don't ever need to buy another driving game again.

how is it even possibe to be the only game you need?
some new feature will come out or some new something or other will be a must have making that game better than the previous.
live for speed implements fuel usage, tyre wear/heat on 96 different different sections of each tyre, it simulates flat spot, it even simulates tank slap! but even tho its got all these amazing features which are far more advanced than either of these games 2 years ago is it the only game you need? of cause not.
end of the day a game is something you play to enjoy, i enjoy a realistic repreesentation of how a car feels/handles as i find it a challenge etc where as some prefer the more arcadey game..
im not saying that forza is shit, i enjoyed kicking your ass at it even tho ud been playing it alot longer than me, but to me it isnt at the level of realism that other games are.

and anyway, im not even that good at short sprint races or timetrials, im more of an endurance kinda guy, there is a reason why i won my first 6 races of the stcc for lfs, held over 60 laps, against real people online.

which doesnt let me qualify to say something id good or bad in a racing sim...
if ak come in here and said forza is shit and gt5 is the dogs nobody would question it.
