It looks like a car again

Exterior's almost complete just needs polycarbs and spoiler then it's just dash build up, reconnect the wires that i wrongly cut seats, exhaust, fill the coolant up and fire it up. Hopefully it's that simple

Edit: Oh, needs tracking and brakes bleeding too

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Mate, you don't know the half of it.

Took the ignition barrel apart weeks ago so the loom could be bagged up and in the process smashed the barrel switch to bits.

Had a complete nightmare fitting my spare one, poking screwdrivers in the contacts to test it. Firstly no ignition lights because we were missing an earth. Then we got lights but and jammed more screweys in to get it turning over but no fuel. Forgot the fuel pump was cut out reconnected that then the EML flashing because it was immobilised due to a Mike B loom modification to remove some wire between the fuse box and the transponder box

Sorted that but had no fuel pump relay because that also wasn't earthed, sorted that and got it turning over and trying to fire but no real urge to start, just loads of pops and bangs and struggling.

Then eventually after much stroking and encouragement it fired in to life really lumpy. Ran it for a bit and it smoothed out.

Wired everything properly in and that's the story of the loom.

While all that was going on, I made some windows.

Front two are fitted. Boot window needs cutting and the remaining three need fitting.

Few other jobs on the board then we are ON THE ROAD BABY
