Yep VDS was top class. A lot of United fans are already in a panic. If he keeps on fluffing then I will be in a panic but hopefully it wont come to that! And it doesn't help the lad if everyone is getting on his back and doubting him.

TBH I thought it was pretty bad when Evra i think it was said to the media he had big shoes to fill. No fucking shit, did he not think that the lad was under enough pressure already.

He just needs time, not sure at a bigger club he will get the ability to have that though. It also cannot be helping with the English language barrier he is faced with.

I don't think VDS bedded in for us until his second season and his last 3-4 seasons showed his class. De Gea might go the same way, although for our sake I hopes its within the next 6 games!

Said it last week, VDS won you quite a lot of points last season by himself, can see De Gea costing you a lot this season.

Luckily the Utd attack is the best in the league (by some way) so they'll dig him out of a few mistakes.

At least he started with a smaller team, next few weeks will be the making/breaking of him imo. Lindegaard is probbly equal to him anyway, so would step in if needed

Once De Gea has a better grasp of English he will be able to command the defence properly. IMHO until that time he might look a bit dodgy. Bet he is putting in some effort to learn it unlike that cunt tevez
