No. It was reckless. I understand it happened alot faster than that and cannot blame Howard Webb because everyone reacts to a loss of balance differently but it is disgraceful from Balotelli.

the way i see it, he was in the air and tried to land his feet, but scott parker was in the way.

he didn't even look where parker was on the floor.

yes it looked a bit like a stamp, but it happened so fast that you can't be sure whether he meant it or not, in real time.

Its definitely a stamp. If you were wanting to stay on your feet there you would swing that leg round to land in front of you to gain balance, not put it behind your standing leg. It was an unnatural movement.

Regards to Balotelli, I think he probably meant to leave his mark but didn't go for the head, just happened to be there.
