Button seems on the money for 2mora cant see him winning but best stratagy. Start on mediums and look after them then go on the soft tyres the last few laps of the race i rekon once the fuel has gone

Grrr these tyres are winding me up now. This Quali session was a farce to be honest.

These soft tyres would make perfect "quali" tyres with a seperate allocation to that of the race, it means they go out on a run, and locking up/missing an apex can make for disaster - which will make it more exciting, and will reward the brave a little bit more.

Race should be on Med/Hard, with Soft for quali only.

Less abrasive tracks can be soft/med for the race and ssoft for quali.

Good result for Hami, though he won't run away with it - the medium runners in the back of the top ten will need to be watched closely.

TBH F1 is shit this year. Where is the fun n watching drivers struggle round on tyres that are not fit for purpose? I think engineering a show has gone far too far this year.

Yeah it seems a little insane that the teams are spending millions for tenths, and the tyres alone are losing seconds per lap

Didn't Schumi complain about this last year and everybody had a go at him? I agree though, really is annoying at times.

Happy for Hamilton, that Merc should win a few races this year. Him and Rosberg are a great partnership in a capable car.

An alternative solution is to say you start on which every tyres you did your quickest lap in quail. I'm pretty sure that in Q2 they will get a quicker time on the softest tyre and so it would stop them not bothering to set the lap.

That was rather close in the end! Hamilton creating a smoke screen in the final corner should of pressed the oil slick button instead though

Good race, good race.

Amazing that Vettel managed to make those tyres work at the end, I'm pretty sure he was about 50 feet away from them just disintegrating on the rims

The final positions will be a bit of a mare if they penalise all of the DRS infractions.

No action for the DRS infringements. Webber 3 place pen for 'crashing into' Vergne for Bahrain and 5 places for Gutierrez.

should have all been given 10 place grid penalties imo. everyone will do it now at every race.

Decent race, nail biting at the end. When Merc were telling Hamilton that Vettel would be close i thought they were been a bit over cautious and that he'd be at least 5 seconds behind come the end...not quite

Happy with the result for Lewis. Ferrari was way too quick today, Fernando was in a league of his own, deserved the win. Shame for Nico, having a fair bit of bad luck at the moment and its also costing Merc a few points in the constructors.

So long as Lewis keeps pumping in the podiums im happy!

About 10 cars used DRS with yellow flags out. The software which previously put a "hard" limit on DRS usage hasn't been working this season, so it's a manual thing.

It's a bit weird that DRS usage is an instant infringement during yellows, as it doesn't mean you're pushing. It could simply be fuel saving

The races at the 'old' tracks are always the best. I think there might be changes in the rules/tyre designs next season to stop so much chess being played in quali.

You should have gone on the weekend of the 19th April, Top Marques Monaco supercar/superyacht show is on. Me and the misses are going out there for it and for our anniversary as its where we got engaged. cannot wait!

As my missus is a teacher, we were restricted to last week - still had a great time though
