king of the travellers.
basically follows 2 pikey families at war. lots of swearing and bare knuckle fighting. although they are traditional irish actors so its uber hard to understand without subtitles
7/10

Primer - two guys invent something, turns out to be a time machine. That's about the only bit which makes sense. 2/10

Jack Reacher - 8.5/10
Really enjoyed it. Proper film geeks probably wouldn't like it though.

primer is a very decent film - its definitely not 2/10 imo. For an independent movie with a tiny budget its superb I reckon. Worth watching so you can go on the net and see how much effort some kids have put into explaining exactly whats going on

Unless you've got the attention-span and intelligence of a gnat, then you'll find Primer is a decent watch. As Pepper mentioned, Carruth did a pretty good job on Primer considering the budget (was around the $10k mark iirc) and it won a handful of awards as well. I found it took a few watches to fully 'get' the storyline though.
His second film, Upstream Color, is suppose to decent as well.

Lethal Weapon - 8/10
Haven't seen this in 18 years and for some reason I had in my mind that it was a worse film than it is.
I loved the psychological approach and having a main character that is sort of an anti hero in the sense that you're never sure if he's completely sane.
Not watching this since I was a kid, I never noticed the post 'Nam theme.
It's worth noting that the HD transfer looks beautiful, though the sound could have been better.
Looking forward to seeing the next three now.
Watch it if you like buddy cup films.

Lethal Weapon is awesome.
They just don't make films like this anymore, everything has to be 12A now for maximum audience

Load of crap. Shakey plot line and not much of anything happens until the end.

Lethal Weapon 2 - 6/10
After the positive surprise of the first one, the sequel was a bit of a let down.
In the opening (and most confusing ever) car chase we see a car explode after a small bump with a caravan and that pretty much sets the tone for a mindless action flick with very limited depth and a myriad of just mind blowingly stupid decisions from almost every single character involved.
"Oh, I see there's a bomb behind your toilet? Let's bring your whole family in to the bathroom and fill the house with police- and firemen, none of whom are wearing any protection!"
Come on!
Some well written and occasionally hilarious dialogue helps.
Watch it if you want some light entertainment.

The guilt trip - 2/10 Seth Rogen is better in stoner comedies. No paragraphs.
