after john and ian w recommended it, for the price of about £8 i thought id get some of that gliptone stuff and give it a go. came with cloths as well, not pictured nail brush acquired from asda. cost about 70p i think, can't remember got it when i was doing food shopping along with some trainer socks. odd things they are.

gone a bit brown ish has the leather in the last month. dirty job with tyres you see. have to clean this keyboard I'm typing on every few weeks.

half and half comparison as thats what people seem to take photos of.

much cleaner. probably needs another smashing over with some stuff and a nail brush. but generally miles cleaner. really impressed, so big thanks to john and ian w for the recommendation.

acquired some seat covers to go over the chair so i don't mark it from work again.

had another look at why the abs light was coming on on the bmw at work today, looked as if the plug wasn't connected properly so re attached that, light went out, great. well no, it then came back on and it looks like i need an abs pick up ring for the front hub as its not looking all that good. shame.

got a few magic trees from ebay though. instead of £1.30 ish in the garage, £3.59 for 5 delivered. thanks ebay.

A sticker plate over the front of the bonnet of the corsa would look a bit better and you could drill holes in the other side.

True, I had thought about fitting a small radiator after the turbo a while back but the temps are fine really. I don't like having a plate on it really.

gave the diesel a good scrub and polish up this morning. its not come up badly at all. used some autoglym stuff that you apply after the normal polish and leave on for about an hour. seems to have given it a load more shine than just the polish did. iPhone camera isn't really the best.

after the football i will drag the corsa out and give that a good scrub up and some polish as well. first time i think I've polished it in maybe nearly 2 years!

todays car cleaning was sponsored by euphorias decade of trance album.

Anything cosmetic planned for the BMW?? Nice piece of kit as standard but i hate those wheels. Nearly every E36/E46 you see on the road has the MV2's. Never ever liked them. Prefer the MV1's.

yeah i prefer the older wheels as well actually. had one in work the other day on an 02 plate, wheels looked much better.

not sure on outside. maybe black grills but I'm not sure if it would look too black. needs new side repeaters as they're mouldy looking, same with the taillights on the boot lid. thinking about club sport splitters, but not really sure what else to do to it.

getting just over 40 on the average round town and the 7 mile trip to work and back so thats pretty good. vectra used to do about 24 pmsl. problem is with it being mapped, I'm tempted to give it a fair bit of death a lot.

just discovered i have a glovebox torch, and it works as well which is nice. all the first aid kit is there and so is the tool kit in the boot. never knew about the torn or the first aid kit under the passengers chair.
