I think the finish on the speedlines is duller compared to the brightness of the softstars thats what make the softstars look am lot better, your car is start silver so they need to be bright to compare with that. I prefer the softstars to be fair

they would look better if they were a star silver like the car too many colours going on thats why people dont think it looks right
just seen that your doing the softstars the same colour imo i would do them the same colour as the car

The wheels are star silver though the softstars will be going same colour.
It's cos I've had softstars so long they don't look right.

I agree with this.
Both look good, hard to say which I prefer as I'm so used to seeing Softstars on it.

No need for the sad face. Look at the previous page. The Speedlines are Luke's, they're only on Dan's while he refurbs the Softstars.

Dan, if you got the wheels sprayed up by a proper company and you got a finish that was the same as your car then you would be well away with the softstars or the speedlines.
They do look a different shade but because you keep your car so clean and in top notch condition the gloss from the cars paint makes it look different.
One thing though, I don't think I have ever seen a single silver car look as wet and glossy as yours, its a credit to you.
Just need to get the wheels matching and keep them that way

Never thought I'd say this as I'm not a great fan of softstars but for some reason I prefer them on yours! I think its the fact the speedlines are a different shade though and the tyres are bigger.
What Star silver were they done in as theres a couple of different shades iirc?

I know there are a few different shades but i think its the actual paint finish thats doing it Jamie.

Yea it could be that as well, they look very matt as if there was no clear coat applied.
I've got a feeling Dan won't be keeping them on anyway
