Definitely not, i do prefer it on the softstars which is strange as I'm not a keen fan of them!
But like you said, they do look matt. But if they were done with rattle cans the finish will be crap compared to his polished almost pristine paintwork

Softstars all the way! Maybe if they had the 40 profile tyres fitted they might suit it better. But like that say if it isnt broke dont fix it Softstars suited it down to the ground!

Thanks everyone for your opinions and comments, appreciate them all.
Before i took the Softstars off they were sprayed in same colour as car (star silver II) and lacquered properly with the gun. I'll get a pic up from earlier in the thread. I think everyone's so used to seeing them on mine when i change something it looks odd.
When i refurbed my bro's Speedlines they were done in a aluminium silver to make them more lighter silver so they'd look good against his black B. That's why they look a different colour to my car. And obvioulsy the45 profile tyres don't help lol.
Picking paint up today for Softstars and just going to go with star silver II again and get a good layer off clear coat on top with gun.

Update : 19.07.2012
Today I got the Softstars lacquered finally. Need to hurry and get 'em back on as the Speedlines are scrubbing and catching like fook with the 45s on. Every bump I go over.
And imo I deffo prefer the Softstars on mine.
Drying,will put them on saturday.
