Rose jointed tie bar and bottom arm set up on its way for Wednesday. Not sure I will have the time to get it fitted and set up properly though which will be a shame.

Tow bar done was a lot easier than the vectra. Sadly, canbus means I've got no electrics. Bastard newer cars. Need to purchase a box thing to run it at a really cheap price of £140. Lovely. Really happy about that. Really.

This pvs trip is becoming too expensive and not enough time to do everything.

new inlet pipe fitting. its always easy to fit it as its not as flexible as you'd think it should be so it becomes painful to attach it to the turbo.

on

trimmed to length. makes the filter sit straight as well instead of an angle like the black one did.

before

after. much better imho.

halfords trip for supplies. they had the tow bar can bus adapter relay device box thing in, so bought one to try it.

bumper and lights out.

mask that shit up

first splat of primer

same with removable centre bit

clean the filter in the meantime. hopefully get a bit of paint on it later.

Bloody hell, it's gonna be a full on trailer queen.

That box thing looks the same type of thing on that site.

never be a proper trailer queen only to places it needs to go that i couldn't stand driving it, or afford driving it to. its just the "in case it breaks" kinda thing. 260 ish miles to pod is probably a 3 and a bit tanks worth of fuel including doing some drag strip stuff compared to a tank in the bmw there and back. too much rust in places on it for it to be a show car. cumbrian back road slag it is.

not really sure. as long as it does some time in the 11s that will do for me. far too many other massive spec cars set up for drag strips these days to compete with. i just aint got the cash no more. see what happens.

12.99 or less according to Vauxsport. Easy enough for you to crack that, but i suppose it just depends on what others crack that time and how many are quicker. I would think you would be in for a good shout though.

How many will be on the team do you know??

think there was 6 the last time i was at totb watching it. I'm game for trying the handling track as well at totb. but just depends on drag strip times.

If you don't break 11's at the pod then it's time to burn the car unless it breaks that is

keeping it regardless cole, still want to 4x4 it over winter. its not a drag car, or set up like one, so it will do what it will do. 12.0 from trail and kirkbride are fastest its ever done on an old air field.

yeah id like a go at 4x4. a mate of mine has the stuff from a cavalier he broke, hopefully get it picked up after pvs and investigate it over winter time. will give up on totb and trying for more power as tbh its getting to the point where i can't drive it anymore, and thats not really what i want.
