Snitch - 4/10.
Pretty slow and boring. Prefer to see the Rock throwing folk about instead of the role he played in this.

Yeah I know its a chick flick and that guy on here fancies Ryan Gosling, but it was on Sky On Demand so thought I'd give it a go.
Working class country boy chases upper class city girl. City girl caves in and they start going out. Upper class girls parents don't approve and words are said. Working class boy breaks up with upper class girl on account of her going to uni in New York. Working boy enlists in the army and upper class girl gets a part time job as a nurse, who falls for a soldier she was caring for.
Working class boy gives upper class girl an ultimatum and so does army guy.
Was alright, but what really annoyed me were the present day segments where an old guy in a retirement home is reading the notebook to a recluse old woman. Kept breaking up the continuity of the setting.
Its not Drive, put it that way
Did you totally miss the point of the old couple or something?

No, got it, but I felt it was unnecessary. Started off with them and ending with them would have been fine. Continuously cutting to them ruining the mood.

Man of Steel 8/10 - Brilliant action sequences and story telling of how he became superman etc, although a bit of overuse of CGI throughout

You can see why all the chicks love this film.
You have a guy who is lower class than the girl
The girl has a rich family and decent career choice
The guy rebuild the house as he promised to her before she swanned off, and put his life on hold
She get engaged to some fancy army guy, who has ends up having a decent job and rich family
She decides to go back and see her 'first love'... he does everything for her
They fook
Her husband to be come to get her back
She has options....
Picks the tramp who ends up staying with her until she becomes slightly 'forgetful'
Of course chicks love it! Its like a guy having an option to shag two fit women

The purge 7/10
Predictable in places, but worth a watch at the cinema, wouldn't bother with a download though.

The amazing spiderman 5/10
Awful reboot too much cgi and not realistic looking cgi either (the lizard looked like they copied king koopa from super Mario bros with bob Hoskins ffs)
Very slow not alot of action and wrapped up too fast, nearly as bad as daredevil

Place beyond the pines - 5/10
Was bored for most of it, I really don't get Ryan Gosling as an actor, he does nothing at all in his films.
Guess it was meant to be clever how the stories interlinked, but it was slow and predictable.
