Russ - I'm only excluding Oxlade-Chamberlain as he's clearly one for the future, so harsh to judge him with the others. Jenkinson too but given he was in the conf at xmas isn't exactly sparkling, but again, bit early to judge.

RVP wont hang around long IMO. Mertesacker would probably have got a gppd reaction (atho fee sounds to be £10m and £80k wages, could ahve got Cahill for that) but the rest would have shocked arsenal fans IMO. 29 y/o Arteta at £10m is not great business even if he is a good player
Seriosuly worried about the next few months - these new guys will take time to bed in and we will be out of the running for CL by then, soon as we are out, it will be near impossible to get back in - seriosuly need to know what the board/wenger are playing at, especially our new owner

I seriously do believe that you've either lost the plot completely, or you're living above your station as a CL side. You've not been a title contender for years. You make it to within a month (at a push) then fall to bits. Arteta is a damn good midfielder, and he'll fit in well to Arsenal's style of play
