Erm my brain was engaged you wrote 'Easy to get a dodgy MOT, go down a test centre that aint Vauxhall ' firstly this implies that anywhere other than a vauxhall garage will do this.
The jist of your reply was based around the fact that vauxhall pick up on more things than most places this does not put them in there own league for being 'straight up' no matter what you were intending your reply to say it didn't

LOL, what tax.
My other offence had tax but the mot ran out while i still had tax.
I got an out of court settlement for the tax of 97 quid and £100 for the no mot.

I was saying take it to somewhere other than Vauxhall because they are reknowned for trying to screw people over, I had the car checked by a mate and he said there was fuck all up with the hand brake cable, but most people wouldnt check they would just believe and away they go trying to screw me over.
And it dont hurt to ask on a dodgy MOT, like I say I know a lot of garages round my end that will do it, you just have to know that they will and know how to ask. But they aint gonna accept it if the car is fucked in some way because it comes back to them.
The fact is that you were taking each half sentence as a statement in itself, if you were to read full statements you would see that it does not emply what you think it does.
And did I say at any point that they would definatly take the bribe?? No, but I would have been tempted to ask, you can tell when you are at a garage thats a bit dodgy and one thats above board. It was in a little town near by that is known for its not so up front and non law abiding citizens.

if its any help an MOT is not worth a wank
When i crashed my old car I had no MOT but the insurance still paid out
Not sure on when they stop you to check docuemnts
They surely would have checked th car to see if its legal. But the fact its failed its MOT suggests it isn't
Seeing how its over 3 years old it would be interesting to see the outcome of that situation
