As for TME, sorry, i shall eat the humble pie, i misread. And as for CTR, in standard form, i think "see ya later" springs to mind
As for Looks, each to their own, i've never been a fan of the evo, but love the GTiR

Like to see a Pulsar against any of the Norris Evos
Standard for standard is below (GSR spec TME has titanium turbo so should be slightly quicker)
(0-60) 4.4 (0-100) 11.2 (1/4) 13.3 @ 108mph
Pulsar
(0-60) 5.5 ? (0-100) ? (1/4) 15.1 @ ?
I'd say thats a fair difference! Clutch is shit on them, they look awful too and are old. I'd rather have reliable speed..

A mate of my brothers who owns a bodyshop down this way, has a dk blue/purple one. Got 62k on the clock, and has never let him down. Altho, i agree, they need a specially large wallet to keep em that way (fully maintained regardless etc).

Are you sayin that a FWD Nova with 161bhp is 0.4s faster than a 4WD Pulsar up the 1/4???!?!?!?. I find that unbelieveable
As for TME, i've already said, yes, well done. But there is massive scope of tunin on the GTiR, and with a few well spent ££, that TME wud easily be within reach (seeing as the GTiR is £1000's cheaper to buy in the first place), its not too much of a prob.
Unless u want it for rallying, of which there isnt much track available in the UK for anyway

Rather have an Evo for the reliability. I could have bought a top Pulsar but concerned with Clutch probs, boy racer image, old car and the looks. Thats my IMO not saying their shit, far from it but I wouldn't buy one even if it was a billy bargin Evo is also handy size wise, fit 4-5 fat bastards in it with ease

They are very quick. But they are also very quick at falling apart. I would not have one for this reason alone. Got to be one of the most unreliable jap motors ever

OK, they are very fragile. Doesnt take it away from the fact that they are quick.
Mid 5's to 60 aint slow from standard.
ok, they aint a patch on evos now. But if we cast back to evolutions, they were only 220 odd bhp as standard.
Nuff said.
