then 8 / 0.34 = 23.53 (if you are rounding to 2 decimal places )

think of it in fractions instead of decimals and it makes it easier. 8/ (1/3) is the same as 8 * (3/1) = 24

Just do the following on a calculator, but dont round any numbers. Note that below the ' means theyre recurring.
