just phoned up the vaux recall, and i need new seat rails! (i have an M reg SRi 16v)

it was recalled on the 7/2/01 (my birth day

) and it only last 3 years!!!

so i only have a week this sat to do it! so il be on the blower to vaux 2mo me thinks

just phoned and woman was v helpful. only needed reg number but didnt find any recalls

she found a recall on a heater hose when i gave her my chassis number tho

was hoping for a recall on my steering (Corsa C) cos its fooked and vauxhall cant find whats wrong with it

My passenger seat has been wobbling around for a few months, been intending to get it fixed but never had time/money simultaneously.

Just found this forum a few days ago and thought my luck was in when i saw all these posts about recalled Corsa'a for seat rail problems.

But i phoned them up yesterday and they said that there was an outstanding seat rail recall from 2000 - really got my hopes up when he said that.

- then he went on to say that it was repaired during 2001.

So although it's been repaired, it's still broke.

Thanks for the number though, was deffinately worth a try.

I phoned up the other week and needed new seat rails and seat belt components, all sorted and fixed now! Do they send letters out when there's something to be fixed? Or do u have 2 ring up and check every-so-often?

I think i need new seat rails as my drivers seat kind of wobbles back and forth!!!!

aye I had mine 'fixed' during the recall..

3 months later, this happened to the front mount for the drivers seat...

rang up vauxhall when I found out & they said sorry it wont be covered & must be unrelated

but funny now though as alot of other people are saying there drivers seat is getting a bit of play in it since this recall
