200 bhp is a bit optimistic ! thats more than a 100% increase,and if so the motor wont last long
i rekon even 150 bhp is pushin it, will cost you big bucks.

The current corsa I have (the red one) is going as soon as I;ve fixed it all up & fitted a new engine, etc... I'm not interested in bodykits or mad paint jobs no more, I used to be ok with styling, but now I just don't see the need to spend £200 on a bumper. It would be interesting to see what sort of power this engine will be pushing out with the mods you mention, but I warn you now don't get your hopes up of hitting that 200bhp marker, thats more than twice the standard power for the X14XE engine. Like I said earlier, you'd need a hell of alot more than cams, chip, headwork & induction kit to even get close to 200bhp. And if you do, it will cost a hell of alot more than £500, sorry!

As for myself I aint gona get a kit on my next corsa, its just gona be stripped out, caged, have a LET dropped in to replace the standard engine, aswell as replacing the rear floorplan for one out of a cally turbo so to get 4WD, but this is something which I know will take a hell of alot of time & money to do, its already in planning stages, and getting everything sorted to begin work around feb/march '04. so say 2 years to complete the corsa, maybe 3, I'll be up for a race down the strip

I told you in the begingin I don't know nor do I claim to know about engines I havent spent £7500 on the engine thats the exterior mods the wheels alone are £800  na the engines only cost me £500 but I'm gonna be more than happy with it when its finished cos not only will it prove a point it will show alot of you peeps up.
