is it a common thing for coppers to pull you for having tinted glass or is it just on the off day when they are bored and feel like ruining someones day

not that common around me, but my bro has been pulled over before. i guess its just if it looks reeeeally dark they'll pull you over.

round my way its ok.....but down in essex i heard its well strict!!!

depends whether u give the cops a reason to pull u over.

I never got pulled in my corsa, this car, dad's 4x4 or in my mates civic with limo all round!! lol

hmmm... i'd still like to get mine done but the 2 tinting companys where i live wont do it they reckon they can get prosecuted

yeah the company that did my corsa said they wudnt do the fronts any darker than 22%, unless i signed a form of some sort......

All the company did where i got mine done was, invoice me for legal tints although they put illegal tints on, i didnt realise this and kicked up a fuss saying they had done it wrong when i looked at the invoice

where i got mine done, he just advised me to have the legal ones.....so i had the light smoke (but still illegal) on the front 2, mid smoke on the back 2 and then limo black on the back.....ill try and put some pics up today

this is for Ollie_Corsa where are to 2 tinting companies near to where u live as i live in fareham and want to find out the price of tinting and do u know what the quality is like.

he hey! ive eventually worked out how to upload pictures

heres what i had done last Friday, limo on the back, mid smoke on the back 2, and light smoke on the front

u can get points for having too dark windows

any rear and side back windows can have ANY tint u like, even spray over them in paint, its not illegal

It is now illegal to have ANY non factory tint on front 2 windows, but if u got anything more than a £30 fine, u'd be unlucky

I'm getting my windows tinted on Tuesday, Light smoke on front 2 then Smoke on back to then Dark on the back window.

Pentagon Glass Tech are doing this for £200 and they will even pick up my car from work and return it to me.

They told me that 50% tint on the front 2 windows should be ok.

He also said that he had done a couple of traffis cops own cars and they said it would be fine as it is not too dark.

i got mine done limo black alround for £170 but found out i cudda had them done for £120 by going though kroozmidz, the people i go cruisin with!!!

50% on front 2?? Thats like a dark smoke? You not ALLOWED ANY on the front 2, so they are fobbing you off big time!

do you think that i will get hassle from the cops for the tints that i have on the front windows of mine, i think they are the same as what the guru has on his all round
