Magazines have to fill a certain percentage of their pages with feature cars so it's inevitable to find that they'll rarely have more than 1 ground breaking car per issue (ie, cover car).
The rest of the cars will be those the writers feel are modified to a high standard and are in keeping with the current trends, so it's not hard to see why this Corsa's in Redline - it's a very worthy feature car for the current modified "scene".
A lot of people (myself included) would rather see a clean sleeper Corsa with perhaps a 2.0 16v conversion or perhaps a 1.6 16v on throttle bodies, but they're the staple content of marque-specific enthusiast magazines like Total Vauxhall so would be a bit out of place in magazines like Redline, Revs, etc although those magazines often do feature cars like that.
It's a fine line between what the writers deem popular and what Joe Public wants.
If you've modified a car to your tastes and a magazine approaches you for a feature, not many people would turn down that opportunity.

Totally agreed with joff, plus not every car can get featured theres just not enough magazines!!! So it just so happens to be this guys car, it coulda been someones from milten keynes or someones from newcastle.....

Also, I'm not saying that stuarty shouldn't be proud of his acheivement - if they've picked him out, then they obviously want his car on their pages.
It's all good

what u gotta take into account is that alot of the members on here are young lads, Im one myself(however i have man to man tact) im 20 you see. They dont understand a lot of the work to your car and the probs you've maybe had to work round when doing ya car up, just enjoy your feature, take in respectful criticism and ignore the ones who go about things the wrong way
