was for speeding.. 40 odd in a 30 with my mate doing 50 infront of me at the time prob 2 car lengths ahead

hmm, i got my first 3 point sfor doing 44 in a 30 by a cop van speeding thing.
if i was u i wud deny it, so then u go over ur 2yrs. not sure if itll work but i reckon it should do

how can i deny it if he has me on tape tho? id look rather stupid plus the offence is dated so ... ahhh i get ur thinking. u mean deny it untill that date then points will be on when iv been driving over 2 years

you get 2 dates when ur done for speeding, conviction (i'e if it goes to court) and offence day u where speeding. if it was a photo van and it got you from the front u can't deny it, as its got your face on the front. if it was from the back, is any one else insured on the car? get them to take the points so u don't get a ban. if it was from the front i would just hope that
A the copper didn't have chance to take a picture of u.
B ur face isn't on the front of it.
C u wont get done
how long has it been since it happened and how long u got left to ur two years up?

my 2 years are up in june i think
it happened at nite time... pitch black and iv a tinted windscreen that is dark to look at from the outside but there were no flash's so??
it was on a sunday nite at the local carpark (packed with cruisers)
my dads also on my policy

they may not be, sure the tints stopped it and being night with no flash makes it even harder
