LMFAO o really. Well, i beg to differ. In fact, i know to differ, but im not going to argue. Or do u mean one of those bodge job conversions with cheap shitty parts, F20 box and a whole host of other things not done to a LET before a conversion.

Oh, 2.0 16v brakes on a 2.0 turbo Yeah, great idea

[Edited on 05-02-2004 by Daimo B]

Damio you've no idea what your on about have you, craigpcg had a F20 box in his car and never let him down also his 2ltr 16v brakes were very good as they were X drilled and grooved.

the price is to get the engine done i never said anything about fitting and servicing is upto the person doing the converstion, i was giving a price on what u can do a LET for yourself

200+bhp car with 2lt 16v brake is fine
what did Stu's car have on? this being the car you used to wank over and beg stu to take you out in can not be that bad hay

proper turner will say go F28 i agree but if u havent got the funds F20 will be fine

AND MOST CONVERSTION TO C20LETS RUN F20 BOX (sorry i will correct myself)

My facts are right today thank you infact they where a few pounds off

Nope, not saying i know best at all. IM saying, u want a let that'llfuckup, do it your way
you want a LEt that wont, do it properly. I wouldn't want to stick an old engine in my car without giving it good treatment.

Ohhh, do i see rear disc conversion there also

Courtenay, the proper tuner, lets use 3 head gaskets for our turob conversions

Funny, it says courtenay conversion, doesn't say they fitted the brakes?

Anyway, i really really must dash. Have a fun night online people

did Stu's 200+bhp corsa have rear disc Daimo?

servicing is upto the person at the end of the day, if your on a budget and u can not serivce it at the time of fitting then why not fit it and save to get it serviced?

its all about your Budget...................
and the price i said is the bare min to get a LET in your corsa

I'm begining to think that Daimo is always right.

256mm discs on a turbo conversion is no the best IMHO. your putting 204hp in a corsa. although the corsa is lighter than a cav or calibra I'd prefer to have bigger brakes with it.

This is true vibs but it is possible to have a LET corsa with the 256mm cross drilled and groove discs, craigs old car proves this.

well as I never drove Craigs car I don;t know how his brakes were. however I know if I had 204hp in the punto I would want bigger brakes up front and maybe a rear drum conversion

most C20LETs run F20's?? as its like another £300 for the F28 box fitting kit
2lt 16v brake will work fine on a 2lt turbo, can i ask what Stu was running on around 220bhp??? o thats right 2lt 16v brakes, and a LET is 205bhp

less work on tunnel than an f28 requires

f20's are fine, best thing to do PRACTICALLY is buy a cheap corsa and stick the let or xe in that, that way u can afford to buy a cheap old engine and rebuild it at your leisure, whilst still being able to drive your everyday motor.
