If the one side went matey i reccomend replacing the opposite side also while your at it. Saves any stress later down the road and better to be safe than sorry cos if it would have happened on the motorway it would be a case of scraping the car off it.

Remeber to get a ball joint splitter tho if ur doing the other side

yeah i am doing both sides,
dont need a balljoint splitter, cos i am replacing the whole thing. so its a case of taking the two bolts out of the wishbone. if you get what i mean.
austin i read ur post about it happeneing to you. man, good thing it didnt fuck your car up too much!

lee and shell. when i get the car back on the road i will come and visit you ok?

ah thought u were just replacing the lower ball joint on its tod.

There were a few cracks in the bumper from where the recovery truck dropped it off, we were rolling it on a downwards slope on a jack

I chucked away a brand new lower arm and ball joint a few months ago - if I'd have kept it, you could have had it for free!

This is near enough exact same thing that happened to me, although my arch is now completely screwed cos the wheel was jammed so far in it! Although I've got such a big list of damage I can't remember all what needs fixed!!
