lets think about this, seriouslly.

Think of th ereasons you are selling your Mr2 n/a just now.
That rules out getting an MR2 T. cause its nothing to do with the power that you dislike the one you have just now!

Get the cali T, as shaun says he learned the hard way, so do what he says and it would be fine!

Also dont get a 205GTI for work, you need a reliable car for work, get something like a Corsa Sport 1.4 or a Saxo VTR ( p reg ) or something along those lines. A 205 will just break down on you!

Just my opinion tho!

Car for work has to be <£1500

I only dislike my MR2 just now because its crap/unpractical as a 1st car/daily runner. A 300bhp coupe turbo for weekend/dryweather use would be

Im a bit put off the Calibra Turbo because of the problems ppl have with them.

I know MR2's are well built mechanics wise
