Yes this is correct , you can buy a boost controller and up it willy nilly and then suffer the pain of screwed tips and blown engine , or do it the proper way and have all the fun you like.

how you managed to get your car to show an indicated 160mph with virtually fcuk all boost pressure I dont know.....!

but then i dont know a great deal about the wankel system either

my supra was about 8psi std......

left me running 1.4bar safely..... and i admit it touched 1.55bar once

FAO: Ditch

well second turbo works when the engine is cold , but once its warmed up or been used and parked up and started again,

ifrom mine to Exeter is 70 miles of a dead straight dual carrageway, and it was 9am and frezzing cold so the turbos were working fine fo about the first 50 miles after that they stopped (this is normal)

and did it after about the first 10 miles

Dragon called today and said turbo boost fixed , each turbo running at 10psi

but engine now smoking

he thinks inlet gasket may have gone , but this was replaced in Aug 03, so could be sumit else

normally the way fix summit and summit else pack up


but.

seen as 1 turbo wasnt spinning for ages the smoke could be a load of built up crap when the turbo wasnt spinning and it clearing itself out now?
