ollie - SBD do the rod bolts for about 70 quid for the set of 8.
whip the sump off, remove old rod bolts (on big ends of con rods..... holding rod to crank)
sumfer (whats it called again??) basically drill the rod a bit to allow the bigger bolt head in i think
then fit the new bolts, to the correct torque......
they come with fitting instructions, paste etc etc

Ollie - Adam is right - fit new rod bolts. That will make your current engine pretty safe up to 8000rpm. You will also be OK with just uprating rod bolts if you fit TBs at a later date. You can get a nice 180bhp and flat torque curve if you have the head flowed and fit some slightly longer duration cams; you don't have to rev beyond 8000rpm to get this kind of power, which means you won't need to go to the expense of steel rods and forged pistons. You might want to invest in some titanium valve caps though but they only cost around £200 and work more efficiently at high revs.
PS - uprated cam belt tensioners are a must IMO even for standard engines
As for SBD exhaust manifold, they do two versions - one give an optimum spred of torque for engine specs up to 185bhp. The 2nd (which I have) gives a better spread with wilder cams and higher power outputs. Can't remember which is which though - but I'll have a look at my receipts for you if ya like

Jesus, they must be good if they've been out of one engine and put into another.
Sounds like a big job that I would'nt want to make a bodge of, will get someone to do it for me.

Andy, the cam belt tensioners? Who sells uprated ones as Vauxhall don't do a mod for the current ones, which my friend who works in parts can't work out seeing as they are so prone to breaking
What about the rollers as well?

Cam belt tensioners/rollers are the same thing (I think that's what Mr Kindness means). SBD (who else) sell them and they're about £90 per set.
