Steve, i managed a 15.074 @ 93.4mph in my 106 Rallye, so i hope you'll manage a 14.? in the Gti.

As for the black strip you removed, i think they look nicer with them in place.

A good small mod to do is fit a wishbone brace(if you dont already have one).

It really tightens up the front end.

My 306 has that strip, and combined with the tints, it looks alot smarter. So u havent got a break in the dark area.

I think u shud get another strip Steve, it keeps the continueity (sp) of darkness between the windows.....if u c wot i mean. Basically now u've got bright orange breaking up the windows, looking messier.

mine is doin it too, quite badly on both sides has bubbled and cracked, been meaning to do it for a while, prob just gonna get sum of that stick on carbon fibre or just get some more blcak vinyl, i think you need it there too keep the continuity of the windows
