His best bet is to just get a loan from someone like Egg to clear the lot

Mad moe, was considering that to be honest, but would obviously prefer not to, means that i'm owing someone else money then
BUT, would probably be more benificial than owing everyone seperate amounts..
Have applied for a Captial one card, which is 0% on balanace transfers... so i can move other cards to that, then destroy them...

Why spend money you havn't got in the first place?
I have a credit card and an overdraft but would never spend what I havn't got or could pay back easily.
I'd suggest stayin in till all debts are paid off, cancel unnessary direct debits and stuff (things you dont really need, mag subscriptions, etc.......stuff like that), take your phone off contract and put it on pay as you go.
Try Royal Mail for a second job, some of my mates work in the sorting office, minimum wage but are open 24/7 so any hours should be ok

get one loan, then u only have to worry about one figure going out every month instead of loads of smaller ones.

Pimp yourself out? Seriously though don't get yourself worried it will just make it worse. Try n get that loan you were talking about and make sure you don't go over the limit on your cards cos your payments are higher. Why not get another card and transfer the balance with 6 months interest free then snap the other one up?

Good thinking Ste...
Spending money i aint got is because i like going out and getting slaughtered Which has now stoped (for obvious reasons..)
Will try royal mail tomorrow possibly. Even though they cost me £300 or so by losing a package... bastards. ...
I could steal one back... genius

Thats pretty much what I done mate moved my credit card onto a 0% one in order to pay it off and the loan I've got was just to buy some stuff for my new place rather than adding it onto my mortgage

Get a loan to pay off all the credit cards and phone bills, get it from Intelligent Finance or Cahoot (if your over 21) and you can have that loan over 7 years and pay about £20 a month until you have sorted yourself out.

Better than nothing...
Was checking my statements the other day and all it was was "friary" about 10 in a row
(it's the only place i can get cashback when i have no money so it's not always on drink, had to get money from there to eat, so not my fault.)
Gonna see what happens really

way i did it was to open another student account, spent the interest free overdraft on cc bills, rent, etc.
as its interest free for the rest of your uni life you got time to pay it off.
hope that helps
