My mate has just bought one, cam belt snapped two days after he picked it up and bent all 16 valves They also found the rad and water pump were leaking.
Its nice inside and pretty quick but cant keep up with my Corsa really, would probably nail me round the bends though.

Pretty much 7.2s to 60, and 140mph........it would give a valver corsa a damn good run....and thats in standard form!
Zaust, filter and chip, and u've got urself 190bhp+ 
..........and like u say Dave, thats before you've got to any bends, which is where, in reality, it all counts!!!!!

It was close, I didn't leave him by much. Problem is they weight about 200kg more than a Corsa with pretty similar power.

If you look about you can find the Astra Sri with a turbo lump they only made 500,

yeah, all that leather, 4 air bags, leccies, air con does add a fair bit of weight......
