How much would u be looking at?
£200 for manifold,
£70 for turbo
£??? for 3 steel gaskets
£??? for hosing
£??? for intercooler

Just go nick your mum's hair dryer and make an adapter for it to plug into the ciggie lighter.

Simply attact the hair dryer on the exhaust manifold with tape and use some basic garden hose from the hair dryer.

Run the wire for the hair dryer into your car through the window and plug it in...

As you drive, switch it on and the suction from the hair dryer on the hose will make a dump valve noise - followed by a big increase in power.

You may also want to put a pair of your sisters frilling knickers over the induction pipe to give a bigger induction roar.

il be honest. Ifi could do this again, i wouldnt go conversion. Its been a hassle. I probably wont say that once i have the new managment in place.

turbo you can pick up anywhere for cheap. T25 or T2. Intercoolers, second hand one from a standard car. Pipework. Well if you want it to look nice about£100 worth of samco and some cheap alloy pipe.

down pipe, cheap from powerflow.

Im using my original magnex with the cat removed.

FPR about £100 injectors for nothing out of an astra 2.0 8v. I found 16v ones were flooding the car on the standard ecu.

Keep the same pump.
Mapping - well its up to you, thereareways around it but if its performanceyou want then id say 600-700 quid for a dta.

Oil feeds. £40 in hosing.

Its the little work that needs remembering. re locating the oil filter, retapping the sump for a return. Adapting the throttle body at the rear.

Thats if ya wanna go cheap cheap. IMO i wouldnt go the courtenay method. itscrazy how much money they are makin from these conversions.

carnoisseurcraig, how are you meant to relocate the oil filter, and whats the re-tapping the sump for return mean? So on the cheap, what do you rekon it can be done for?

'Courtenay Sport have a manifold which will enable owners of Calibra and Cavalier Turbos to upgrade their KKK turbo to a Garret T25 - T28 unit, which is more desirable when running highly tuned engines.
This manifold will also enable a turbo to be fitted to a non-turbo engine.
Manifolds are also available for the Vauxhall 1.4, 1.6 8 valve (Nova, Corsa, Astra) and the Vauxhall 1.4, 1.6 16 valve (Corsa, Astra, Vectra).
