Ben they are 16s on there atm and they would look well at home if they were wide enuff to fill the arches and the front was lower. I think 18's on a corsa look to ott most of the time plus they wont go on that kit without hacking the kit itself up then i would lose all the reinforced bits of the kit resulting in some major breaking ! also with 17s i can go wider and have the car lower without worrying about stress on hubs and wheel bearings!

Hehe theres a lot of split opinions on the kit, its just getting the mods around the kit to work with it to make it look right, most important is filling those arches, then the kit looks completely different!

the main problem with the car modd'in world today is everyone is trying to be differant and stand out from the rest, and this kit is becoming a prime example of this. People see this kit and think mad, differant etc etc and go and buy it an its becomeing very very popular and finding hard to really stand out from the rest.
everyone thinks get this kit flip paint big wheels etc and will get loads of excitment and everyone will think it will stand out.......

QVR etc etc
The kit is awsome i saw this years ago when i was in Spain on the cream one.
the main problem with the kit is filling them archs, out of all the ones i have seen the only one which has pulled this off was the Deep Blue one with the UV spolier, it look awsome.

the cars looking good mate i hope you went for the kit for personal reasons(you liked it) and not to stand out from the rest, as most of the younger car owners set there goals out to be in all the mags, which soon is going to be hard with this look.

good work mate look forward to seeing it finished

btw was this the one in the mag work in progress

Cheers beardy, i chose the kit in july last year lol but never got around to getting it on, most examples of the kit ive seen look unfinished or rushed, i know what you mean about the blue one, it actually looks right with the wheels on but they do look a tad OTT. Ye it was the one in revs, simon contacted me cos he wanted his passat resprayed so i sent him over some pics of my car in progress n they pretty much fell in love with it, anyway im well pleased with it and the finished article should be summat special .
