true true mate
although there must be some attraction to speeds otherwise a 2lt wouldnt have been fitted mate although speeds like that are useless over here, unless you do track days alot in which case it would make for alot of "Priceless" moments when you over take porsche's, TVRs etc

im more bothered about how fast the car goes from still, or low speeds, top end speeds and sliding it round roundabouts is no good
its a serious piece of kit and its treat with respect, if i dont treat it right it could put me on my deathbed

170mph

Funny, even the twin 350bhp LET Nova can only do 160mph. Thats what the F28 can run up to. U need to seriously increase the rev limit, and power to get near that, especially in a corsa.

I've gotta agree with venom here, whats the point of being able to do 178 mph?

As I keep explaining to my mum, its got nothing to do with how fast you can go, its all to do with how quick you can get there...

well i just dug out the article at it isnt that shy -

0 - 60: 5.3secs
0 - 125: 14.5 secs
Max speed: 174mph (i thought it was 178 but hey only a little off)
315Bhp, 357lbf.ft. from a C20 Let engine and its running through a F28 box, and has its rev limit raised to 7350rpm.
Worse things is, it looks like a standard corsa C, except just different wheels and exhaust, wolf in sheeps clothing and all that

surely the gearing would need to be changed to make it do 170 plus isnt the corsa drag co eff. shit?

Love that car tho one of my fave corsas and greg piss off im gettin the wheels

They are £1k from wheelbase ( I just spent £700 on shitty dare x1s that are flaking
