My 106 has the biggest tank ever. £40 to fill her up yet it's £29 for the Clio. 106 is only a 1.1 to whereas the Clio is a 1.4

Diesel is Blue at Esso IIRC
Wont do any major damage to the engine if any at all. We have guys filling our vans up at work with unleaded on a regualr basis and nothing bad has happened to them yet.

Won't have done any damage, if any at all, as the Unleaded hasnt got into the engine yet. You'll know if it has, as the car will just stop running. You will need to have the tank drained and the fuel lines cleaned, but no permanent damage.
Personally i'd try and syphon the petrol out first as it'll cost you £120 for the AA to do it .

my mums boyfriend put petrol into the new diesel police cars and drove it for 5 miles then it broke -
cost 500 quid to fix (not chargeable to him luckly) because on new cars you can't syphon out n e more, fuel lines had to be cleaned out etc
apparently it happens every week in the police - thats what were paying for

syphon the petrol out or if theres a drain plug use that. dont drive it with that much unleaded in it, it'll kill it.

Take the fuel pump out under the rear seat, then you can easily get to the tank to get the unleaded out

Its all fixed now
Yey. it cost £60.42 to drain n wash fuel tank blow air through fuel lines n put enough red diesel in 2 get it 2 petrol station.
Then put £20 of diesel in and took it for a blast to get the shity red diesel out.
Runing fine now so its all sorted
Thats 1 thing i wont b doin again i hope

I work at a petrol station on saturday mornings, you wouldn't believe how many idiots do this! What is more unbelievable is when they tell you what they have done, and you say "what ever you do dont drive it" and the first thing they do is get in their car and drive it! I really do wonder how some people get anywhere in life!
