oh ak go to halfords with £20 and buy a breaker bar trust me you wont bust another rachet i went throu 6 before getting a bar

gonna take the rod bolts off tomorrow, caps off.... see if the shells have score mark setc... same with crank...
failing that the heads off and im goin exploring baby
pistons OOOoooootttt
then rebuild....

but she's running on 3 cylinders...
droped a valve maybee? or partly droped a valve?
and yeah the crank bearings score marks etc

thge crank is fine..
just having hassle getting the cly heed off....
its loose, the inlet manifold is loose..... but there is something 'stopping' them coming apart... grrrr

are u sure 100% all of them are off, when i did the bm 6cyl i could have sworn all head bolts where off and everything else, even asked on bm forum how many bolts come out and they said same as what i had, got me mech to come look and there was 1 bolt hiding under the top chain tensioner! check and double check, it will come off easily once all bolts are out so must be something still physically holding it

matt - all bolts are off. I can lift the head up a few cm, then its the inlet holding it on, but im having an issue getting the inlet manifold off without completly stripping the bay

quite a bizzare pic
shows oil sitting in the bottom of the inlet manifold.... must have been sitting there from that track session where oil went up the breather and back into the 'clean' side of the engine.... damn breather pipes
