ISDN runs at either 64k or 128K multi linked , basicly you could have a 4 port router that feeds the ISDN to 3 machines , so basicly you could setup a small network between the 3 of you and route the ISDN between you.

Luke: it all depends really , you will have ISDN line rental from BT (set fee for every one) and then you can try and get a pre-paid package per month, or Pay As You Surf but this can be pricey as when using 128k ISDN you are charged double as using 2 lines multilinked.

Kerry: Yeah no probs get it all setup and bobs your uncle and dafneys ya aunt

to be honest im not sure , other people install it but you still have to get the Home Highway (ISDN Line) from BT.

but dont quote me on that.

We have broadband via radio link (part of the government's 'wired up communities initiative'). Works OK, but not as fast as true broadband and subject to the vagaries of the weather and things like falling leaves in the autumn It's a good alternative when true broadband isn't an options (like here), but it's not as efficient as broadband via cable/telephone line
