I had trouble with people complaining and starting a fecking petition against the exhausts 
So i approached it the civil way like noonster, got the exhausts tested, they are 97.9db - legal. THEN i told them all to GTF with their petition as i'm legal. Had'nt had no bother (from my neighbours) since. My GF's neighbours are starting to moan though now lol.
Just get your exhausts tested noonster see if you can beat my 97.9db and if you get 99.9db you will get a blue peter badge

Not sure to be honest. Wont a regular garage who carry out MOT's be able to test it? I got a local mate of mine to borrow a tester. Dont know where he got it from he just said he borrowed it
You can always ask vaux. Be there when they test it though, i dont tend to trust vauxhall dealers much....

noonster the coppers actaully came round your house ! report em say you felt threatened in your own home and also mention the were waiting for a good time to pull you discrimination gets you everywhere in this poor excuse for a country nowadays.

Nah pulled me on side of the road mate - thanks for the advice though....
Looks like im defo gonna have to get it sorted..... but im not getting it quite - still want it loudish....
And if they pull me again after i will say look - ive toned it done - show willing etc....

Loud isn't good IMO especially when motorway driving, it's bloody annoying

Andy - well its gonna be getting toned down now..... cost me £85 and then £75 in petrol like but it has to be done....
Cant be ar*ed getting pulled by the police etc....
It wont sound standard obviously, will prob be as loud as if you have had a straight through pipe fitted.... im not going quiter than that.
Hope that made sence

My mate at works next door neighbough just got a letter throught the post stating....
"he has to pay £350 and is getting 3points on his licence for excessive noise"
WTF - im defo gonna have to get it sorted...
And apparently its was about half as noisy as mine
