If you use an authorised Vauxhall dealer to change the belt and the ancillary parts, it will cost you more than most other garages, but, if the belt then breaks before time, you should be covered under warranty for having a genuine part fitted.

my went yesterday, i just insured the car in the morning and took it for its first drive since bringing it home a couple of weeks ago. was just getting going and lost all power. how big a job could this be? i wont know the full damage until someone has seen to it tommorow.
