i'd be interested in the engine - just the actual head/block - don't need any ancillaries, as long as there's no damage to the bottom end. in fact, just the bottom end would do - gimme a shout if it all goes pear shaped & you're breakin' it.

My cambelt snapped on my 1.4 16v, was only doing 15mph, bent 16 valves and a dented piston. Cost £700 to fix. But it was never the same again. Ended up paying another grand and having a 1.6 16v put in.

Sassy - the car's not worth much if you decide to sell it, the best thing to do is look out for a cheap engine to swap over with your current one.
Bodywork doesn't matter, so don't worry about paying for that, but get the car running properly again.

I dont think its worth any more than £300.....when your looking at about £600 to fix the engine and another £400 to put the body damage right.........thats £1300 Could have bought a tidy 1 in the first place for that

Not really a good idea either....think about it.....the 2 main bits anyones going to want is fucked....engine and Front bumper. This leaves the interior, Electrics, Skirts....Exhaust, Cant see much money getting made from these parts
Best thing to do is put another engine in it(on the cheap) then keep it or sell it on.
