ok guys, name your top england team, the one you would field if you were manager.
Mine
David James
Gary Neville
Sol Campbell
John Terry
Ashley Cole
David Beckham
Frank Lampard
Steve Gerrard
Wayne Bridge
Wayne Rooney
Jermain Defoe
I'd agree with dropping owen but not sure who I'd replace him with. Wayne Bridge is a good call
yeah would give us a natural left foot on there plus a good defender who will track back. Owen needs to be dropped, defoe is in good form at mo and deserves a place.

where the hell is rooney, he has been our best player recently. Must admit, Mills is a good call, just has a little too much temper for my liking.

My first squad would have to be..
James
Neville
Ferdinand (obviously Terry whilst on suspension)
Cambell
Cole
Beckham
Lampard
Butt (subbed for Scholes mid second half)
Gerrard
Rooney
Vassell (subbed for Owen mid second half)

Sven needs the sack, we need someone who knows something about football to take charge. Im available and will call the FA tomorrow about a contract. I work cheap and know that heskey, joe cole, scholes will immediately be dropped.
Maybe so, he should never have gone into cruise mode and put heskey on
James did not need to take henry out like that, he could have gone in with his hands would've stood a better chance thern
Gerrards pass was poor, but the rest of the game he was quality .... heskey should never play for england again imo, he's total wank, michael owen was quiet as was scholes.
That king had a good game as did beckham, rooney & campbell

I would'nt change the team, they played brilliant.
The defense kept Henry and Trezaguet quiet for the whole game.
Midfield played the ball around effectively, Owen looked a bit lacklustre but then hes not getting the balls that he likes to run onto.
Rooney played very well, has a very good future.
Only player that I would swap for the next game is Scholes, he keeps floating inside and we are loosing shape, as soon as Hargreaves came on he looked more effective on the left, made a couple of runs down the left instead of moving inside and eventually moving the ball back out to the right.

I think Sol Campbell was England's man of the match - Ledley did well though good luck to him

Agreed, don;t think Scholes is the type of player we need alongside Lampard and Gerrard. Butt would be my choice as he can rough the opposition up and add a bit of bite in there leaving Lamps/Gerrard to get forward. Scholes gave the ball away a bit too much last night and doesn't look to be on best form lately
