waters very rarely clear, as i've set the pond up to the exact setting a lake is, mud,silt,sand,reeds etc. its bacteria free though with the barley stuff

Thats nice m8 we got a big pond with a little 1 top of the garden leading into it the fuckin dog thought it would be fun to chase the fish n put holes in the liner round the edge dad wants to make it deeper with a wall round it should be gd

lee they are only 12-14oz, nowhere near proper size yet, but they are part of the carp family and can rough it in still and river conditions, very volitile species

not long really, the dig out was a weeks process as stated above somwhere, feeding the pumps and filling it took 2days, the decking took me 4hours on a sunday afternoon and the shed was put up by a mate whos a joiner, at the bottom and in other deep areas there is lots of pond plants and other stuff for fish to hide in etc, its only the shallow bits where its clear

thats quality, am gonna dig a pond when i get me own place...
i know someone who has a pond that flows into the house/conservatory is amazing all the pumps and stuff gone into it...............cost about £300,000 tho
