Most digicams suffer from a serious amount of lag between pressing the shutter and taking the pic. I'd recommend one where you can dial up manual mode, set the exposure, focus it manually and hopefully photograph a moving car not a section of empty road.

Lag is 0.53 seconds, most of the reviews I've read said they didn't notice any lag on it and it can't be any worse than my old camera. Also I think you kind of get used to it after a while and can time it right so the car is mid shot when it captures the image
