Can't wait 'til I can afford to build it. With a Yamaha R1 engine the power to weight ratio is 276bhp per tonne (and that is one of the lower power engines people use)...

I'd probably build one with an R1 engine in it, seeing as these are the specs of it:

R1 Yamaha Mini with ½ tank of fuel, carbon flipfront and carbon boot lid, fully trimmed for road use with all other fluids ready to drive:

Weight 575 kilos
Front Axle 275 kilos
Rear Axle 300 kilos
0 to 60mph 4.5 seconds
100 to 0mph 4.8 seconds
Top speed 120mph
BHP at Crank 160bhp
Power to weight ratio 278bhp/tonne

Were looking at one fast little mid mounted RWD Mini there
