yeh I used to race at club level...

Schumacher Carbon Mission... with a 19 Turn Trinity Motor, a Nosram electric speed controller and a few little hop ups...

belt driven 4 wd... It was quick... Very nippy... quite fast as it is but was geared for acceleration rather than top end... but I used to burn our carpet at home accidently just trying it out and doing little acceleration tests as it'd just spin up.

Was using Schumacher Carpet dragon wheels indoors...

I didn't like it that much outdoors... not much traction, and every bump would scrape the chassis...

hmm... Why pay a shit load for that?

buy the S2000 body for £19, then buy the wheels and put it on any other RC car...

My car could look like that S2000 if I put the shell on it...

yeh but jason aint... he says that he keeps getting out bidded on it... why doesn't he just buy a shell and put it on any RC car. that one he's bidding on looks pretty crappy anyway.

sorry mate, my mistake. thought the gt4 was electric

yokomo are a good make and its a .18 engine so better than the crappy .12 and .15 powered models. but you will have to spend round £100 on top of that price to get it up and running

well ive already got an Acoms Techniplus 2 channel radio control, and 2x futaba servos from my old electric car, if they were any good would it be cheaper to buy the other running bits seperately. assuming you mean the glo start, glo fuel etc etc

nowt wrong with electric cars, they dont run as long admitedly but dont have to fork out for feul, just buy batteries and charge them, plus electric are less hassle to put together and take less to maintain.

yeah, but nitro is more fun. and when you get some serious power an electric model wont live with them

bonzai dude all you need on top of that pack is:
transmitter/reciever set
servo for steering
servo for throttle
glo start
fuel

so yes with the bits you already got your way will probably be cheaper.

oh yeah, risca model mart is a cracking place to get models/parts/fuel etc

so in conclusion to all of the posts above i should get a nitro powered one! some1s just offered me this!

all for £100 quid

i've got a modified looking subaru impreza if you want it. Nice metallic purple, also have an r34 skyline shell with it in flip green/gold/red.

http://images1.fotopic.net/?iid=y380ds&outx=600&noresize=1&nostamp=1

check the link, i want to sell it and i've got that whole package for sale. Got 6 sets of wheels with it including two sets of chromies. Battery, charger, control, the lot. I built it and have only used it for about half an hour since i got it.

good deal?
