Ignore me then. My engine Light used to come on, and shudder when it did, so i took it to the garage and it ended up costing £220 to get it sorted.

well i am 23yr old male iwth a provisional licence, a 1l corsa cost me €2000 to insure, thats £1357.
a vaux gsi, i cant insure or get a quote without a full licence. (had thought bout importing one)
but since teh opel is so rare, and never crashed etc their computer dont see it as a high risk car and cost me €2600 which is £1700.
so although its very high, i aint complaining bout the gsi's insurance, when i know they wouldnt insure the vaux cause it aparently to powerful for some1 with a provisional

well they i am not ment to, but most of the country has a 12month w8ing list to do ur driving test, so the gardi (police) have no choice but to ignore the fact learners drive on their own, unless ur doing something stupid. i got caught doin 83mph in my 1l, and he ignored the fact i was a learner!!!

your allowed drive on yer own if yer on yer second provisional.
As for the insurance... its after plumeting in ireland over the past 2 years.
my insurance was €1100(£700) cheaper than last year. i even got quoted 1500 on a calibra turbo
they dont like modify cars though thats the pain in the ass over here which is y i'm thinkin of getting rid of the corsa cos the original plan was to stilck a valver in it.
@ gsi_ire u got a bargain with that at 3k man.

as for air filter i reckon a decent pannel filter say a K&N is the best bet and wont ruin drivability with the dreded flat spot you get with induction kits
it says 15w 40 in halfords and its all ive ever used

the C in standard form reaches max torque quicker than the X and has 3BHP more at 109BHP were the x has 106BHP... but theres not much difference once you modify them.
the X16XE is in the later GSi's(i think) in all the 1.6 sport models and in all the 1.6 tigra's.
