Can't be arsed reading all this post but from the first few bits it looks like a prime example of why insurance companies won't cover young drivers on high performance cars.

75 on a roundabout in the wet driving a 300bhp car with 3 months driving experience??????

WTF did you expect to happen?

You were lucky you didn't flip it hitting a kurb at that speed.

Oh and as for the cost, lube yourself up good and proper, pop into the dealer and prepare to be fully shafted.

I used to take the same corner at about 85 in a 1.6 VW golf so pls know circumstances before you start talking utter shite, P:S Some Insurance companies love to insure young drivers as they can suck as much coin out of em as possible which makes it highly profitable, Even if I claim they'll still be up a good 8-9 thousand

Were talking 3months since ive had the evo more like 15months ive been driving..........

WTF? How much do you pay?

And as for taking a corner in a Golf @ 85, it was only ever a matter of time before you came unstuck.

About 11, With about a 3grand excess,
And nahh ude be suprised how well they corner with traction control thing sticks like glue, I wrongly assumed the 4wheel drive and YAW could easily handle 75 and more but obviously i was very mistaken

Snaped Shafted (but even with one snaped shoudl still drive)
Snaped CV, killed wheel barings
Bent/snaped Wishbone
Snaped Tranmission
your wost worry is (and sounds like it as dosent grind in neutral) you have pushed the shafted/CV into the Tranmission locking/smashing the gearbox

I'm going to go out on a limb here a say that ANY corner in the world can be taken faster in an Evo than in a shitty base model VW Golf. There might be a small chance that it was not the cars fault that you hit that kerb.....

And there's more young kids like me on this site souping up corsa's and the like, Which potentially makes them stupidly dangerous as a car built for a 1.2 engine finds itself with a 2litre engine,

James... again your missing the point... a 2 litre turbocharged 4wd car is much more sophistocated than a 2 litre corsa

Who really cares if he is a competent driver or not. It is not for us to judge wether he is or not. He simply asked for our help in diagnosing the problem with his car.

James, if you find you are needing spares or replacement parts then give me a u2u i should be able to get you a good deal.

I can smell some bull here, you say your 18 but on your profile your 19.

Also if u really wanted some help its not hard to go into google and type in evo forums like paul pointed out then you come back saying

"All very well, But it means Im going to have to speak with americunts.......... "

WELL JUST PRESS THE FUKCING "PAGES IN THE UK ONLY" BUTTON....

I dont know how much you have inherited if you have inherited Millions fair enough get an evo and insure it for 11k.....

but i dont think i could bring myself to give an insurance company 11k lol thats mad.

Id rather work my way up, new and better car each year. Now you got an evo at 18 *cough 19 cough* you aint gonna get much better than that now.... except for super cars 911 turbos etc etc...
