LOL
Standard for standard, any scoob will beat a 2.0 Turbo Corsa. Regarding an LSD, no point on a standard one, you can easily adapt your driving style.
Modded corsa vs. scoob. Corsa every time (take mine for example). Exclude the launch as they just silly, but you can easily reel them in by 80-100.
Straight line dragging from a rolling start, I've beaten UK's, STi 8's (both normal and one with prodrive pack), STi 6 and STi 4 Type-R's.
Regarding handling, its an ubran myth they are super at handling. I've been in a scoob (admitadly with uprated suspention too!), we were on its limits round a rounderbout, and an Astra (all be it immensly set up, but it prooves it is possible) overtook us round the outside!
Seen many a 2wd saph out-do scoobs on a track day, so see no reason why a heavily modded LET can't out do them too..

Yes yours would ofc ourse , but let the Scoob owner mod his car to the same standards as yours then it may well be a different story.

Nismo, of course a Scoob was modded as much as mine it would out do me, purely because it has a higher starting base! But we don't analyse things like that, its all about being head to head!
Value for money, Corsa by a country mile! For 7k I can outrun 50k cars! But a car is about more than just speed. I love the fact the car looks nothing and goes like a rocket, but some people like the agressive looks of a car, so that may be an additional factor in the scoobs favour!

Ad say it was especailly when A standard WRX STI is 280 BHP! If U were gonna say Putting standard cars against modded ones wasn't fair, Ad say it wasnt fair unless the cars where the same BHP!!!
Edited cos a forgot to say A standard 2.0Let was only 204BHP and b4 some 1 says again thats after U put the 2.0let into the corsa

BHP means nothing over weight advantages, for example a lotus Elise has around 30 and a bit brake less than my S2000, but does 0-60 in a second quicker due to it weighing Fuck all.

Trawl the site and you will find the spec on my car on a post somewhere...
Though it's all changing for Cosworth Management, different injectors, possibly different turbo if the current one is not upto the job...

AND!
All the scoobs I have beaten have been modded, all have exhaust/filter and some had remaps
We were all running standard compression too, so you could say we were the same state of tune

That includes a full respray and a brand spanking new bottom end. And a set of 300mm 4 pots.
Reckon new management won't cost me much (or anything) as people will pay silly money for whats on the car now due to its scarcity.

As i've said in this post your wrong mate, i've got a vid of craigpcg's standard LET corsa raping a scooby, the guy was so pissed off that he told his mates to get out of the car so that he could try again with less weight and no prizes for guessing the outcome of that one aswell
