This is for flaming corsa, when you sprayed the inside of doors and boot etc, did you bother to sand all these areas to get a nice finshish or did you just give the paint a key here

yea just gave it quick sand, its probabillt got the best finish of the whole car in them areas!

few places on outside are a mess, really wanna take some more time on it and do it again, i use the car everyday tho so its hard to go without it! when i re-sprayed the car last time stripped it and painted and put it back together on my days off, 2 days in total! thats y its not perfect, rushed to much! iaz

Yeah, i best ya can get a better finish on the fiberglass ones too as the standard ones tend to ripple as the plastic is dead thin and gets pulled in at the fixing points

actually the plastic used on these is very rigid and resonably flexible meaning that they dont fit badly at all.

The only reason why they wud pull in wud be if they were incorrectly fitted or were perhaps a poor copy but neither of those issues can be used here

And yes these are the copies that include the part that is supposed to meet with the arch covers meaning no cutting is required, definetly a bonus!

Painting will hopefully go ahead on sunday, or at least it better as driving a saxo around as a run around is destroying my soul!

Well shes finished for the time being!

Gotta do a little flatting in certain areas and then a buff and she will be even shiner!

Pleased to say the least

Opinions on what to do next would be welcome!

Cheers

thanks for the comments peeps!

With regards to the comments about peeps and me doing resprays i'm afraid I wont be doing any of them, simply because I dont have the experience to be taking on such projects, but thanks for even thinking that my work is good enough to be considered!

Smoked rear lights are hopefully going to be my next purchase but I just gotta wait for the right pair and price to come along
