You pay by credit card/debit card because they aint releasing the game on disc for another couple of months so if you want to play cs:s early then play hl2 when its out you pay now. £27.99 i think

anyway of getting CS:source without HL2? as i couldnt give a monkehs about HL2, seems absolute cack to me...but CS:source is right up my street
although i take it, you have to pay for it eitherway? considering you need keys and stuff and i doubt a "bought" copy will last that long

hmm i am very tempted. i have played CS for years ans its getting boring. I might download the 3gb of preloads and may pay for it in the week. Shame they didn't do a version which just had CS 2 because i want to play it now, but i want the Gold box set when that comes out.
I much prefer online games. I get very bored playing single player games. So i have played online games such as....
Counter-Strike
Team Fortress Classic
Call Of Duty
Quake 3
SOF2
Star warz Galaxies
Anarchy Online
Delta Force BHD
Unreal 2003 and the orig
Hate to think how many hours i have spent playing these

I know you think that Vivendi are going to drag their heels when they get hold of the release candidate, but they are actually bound by international law to release the game once it has been approved ready for sale. Valve are not going to piss around by sending rubbish to Vivendi, and according to the PCG and PC Zone reviews, it seems like its pretty much complete. Therefore i can presume it will be out way before christmas, Valve and Vivendi could potentially make lots more money doing this. So you being a non-believer can GTF
