CTR's are great car's simple as, very quick for a 2.0litre and sound fantastic being revved, if you lot could have your way you'd rather skylines and touring cars etc.. only revved to 5krpm so you wouldnt have to 'rev the tits off it' it's built for it!!

No not really, sounds like a highly tuned high compression engine, and with a nice induction kit gives a fantastic grunt, get yourself out in an old EG civic vti andsee if that sounds like a jar of angry wasps, when i went with mine to the rolling road that nik arranged ages ago when he had the 106 when it started to kick in it shook the place the noise that car made sounds like throttle bodies, and you all love those on here! you say you don't want to rev a car high, then you won't be wanting a skyline or similar then because of the revving properties? those rev just as high.

He's spending alot on the grille and induction kit, don't ruin it with a powerflow exhaust, tell him to get a hayward and scott if he wants custom, or get a mugen exhaust too

If he's going for performance he really needs to stick with a brand that knows the vtec and builds for it. magnex is defo a step better then pflow but imo with a mugen ind kit he should go the full breather system, i do believe skunk2 do a good exhaust now tho..
