no one was hurt we both managed to stay on the road just! i lost my front end and it sent the whole car sideways.
the strangest thing is it all happened in such slow motion!
i must admit i dont always check my blind spot when overtaking on a country road i do on a moterway but not always on a countryroad so i guess i had it coming. do you lot check it every time?

I agrue that he flew up behind you and didn't indicate. Think about it, it's a brand new merc, he can move that fast and their usually that arrogants that they carn't wait!
Should really be overtaking 2 cars at once anyhow!
Did it he the back of you? claim whiplash

agree with leni
on a single-carriage way, the merc is in fault for being a total noob & trying to overtake 2 cars at once. you say the old woman carried on, but did she stop eventually when she saw?
either way, the merc will be the one who most likely will be blamed, just stick to your story & hope for the best, is all you can do!

my car:
smashed my mirror off
completely ripped my fornt right hand alloy to shreads
dented and scratched front wing / drivers door (really dented and scratched) and down the back of the car
the merc:
smashed mirror
BIG dent on passanger door
scratches and little dents where my wheel has battered the whole length of the car
smashed off rear wheel arch
can you beleive the merc came off worse than my car! .... but mine must have been close to flipping over

It wasnt the merc drivers fault at all, even Ross has admitted that it was his own fault
I nearly went into the side of acalavier on the motorway at about 80mph because I didnt check my blind spot, I must have missed him by about 2 inches, gave me 1 hell of a fright now I check at least twice before I overtake anyone.
What is the damage like on both cars???

if she was doing 50mph you should of just stayed behind, rather silly IMO, and very impatient, not like she was doing 30-40mph
but il back you up, if its single carriageway you can contest and he was going clearly over the 60mph limit and overtook more then 1 one car which is very dangerous driving, be sure to state you indicated 1st and looked twice to go, then he went into you.
